Since the arrival of Chapter 2, there’s been a slew of new activities and game changes in Fortnite. One of which, comes in the form of everybody’s favourite pastime… err, fishing.
Fortunately, there’s more than just underwater critters up for grabs. Casting a line in the right location could net you anything from a gold weapon to a ‘small fry’ fish, which can be used to heal a small amount of health. So, how do you fish in Fortnite?

Securing a rod and finding a fishing spot

fortnite-fishing

The first thing you’ll need to do is locate a fishing rod. You can find them in barrels near any body of water and in random chests throughout the game.
Once you’ve secured a rod, you’ll have to find a location to cast a line. These are very easy to spot as they show up as white, bubbling circles in the water and have fish very clearly swimming beneath.

Catch of the day

how-to-fish-fortnite

Once you’ve found a spot to start fishing, it’s time to do just that. Launch your hook into the target area and wait for a noise to indicate you have a bite. Reel in your catch to bag yourself a sweet reward as well as a little XP.
You can expect to catch any of these items:

  • Small Fry (heals 25 health)
  • Flopper (heals 50 health)
  • Slurpfish (heals 50 health or shield)
  • Weapons
  • Ammo
  • Rusty Can (deals 20 damage when thrown)

Mythic Goldfish (deals 200 damage when thrown)

Alternative ways to fish in Fortnite

fortnite-fishing-guide

Although it’s limited to 10 shots, the harpoon gun is a much quicker alternative to the fishing rod. There’s no wait time for the fish to bite. It’s almost instantaneous, ensuring you can jump straight back into the action.

Explosives

fortnite-explosives-fishing

Like the harpoon gun, fishing with explosives is limited in comparison to the fishing rod. However, launching a stick of dynamite, grenade or firing a rocket into a fishing spot will cause multiple items to float to the surface, making it the most efficient way to fish in Fortnite.

Upon reaching Level 5, players must pledge allegiance to a team of their choice. There are three teams to choose from: Team Instinct (yellow), Team Mystic (blue), and Team Valor (red). The team you choose will be the team you represent for the rest of the game, and will determine which gyms you can join or battle. Consider choosing a team based on the gyms held in your location, as this can make it easier to find a gym to join.

How to battle in a gym

pokemon-go-how-to-battle-gyms

Battles mostly come down to incessant tapping and landing your special attack. When it comes time to battle an opponent, there are only a couple of attacks to keep in mind. To perform a basic attack, simply tap on your opponent’s Pokémon. As you continue to tap and attack, a blue bar will begin to fill up beside your Pokémon’s CP. When the blue bar is fully charged, tap and hold to unleash your special attack. Keep an eye on the enemy Pokémon and prepare to swipe left or right to dodge incoming attacks as well.

Continue tapping vigorously and landing your specials. When a Pokémon faints, it will be replaced with the next Pokémon in your roster if six. Healing Pokémon can only be done outside of battle, using items acquired from PokéStops.

Successfully defeating each opponent in a gym battle session will reduce the gym’s prestige by 2000 points. When a gym’s prestige reaches zero, you can claim the gym and take control of it for your team. You’ll earn additional Pokécoins each day you hold a gym, which is a nice incentive for supporting your team.

Defend a gym in Pokemon Go

pokemon-go-gym

After picking a team, you can enter a gym of the same color, provided there are enough spaces available for you to join. Gyms initially have slots for three members. When you find a gym, you’ll see the main trainer and the Pokémon they have stationed at the gym. Tap the gym and swipe to see its members, and if there are any available spaces for you to join. If you see an open circle beside the crown in the upper left, that means there is room for another Pokémon. Grey gyms are unclaimed, meaning you can move in right away. Unclaimed gyms are a rare find at this point, however.

Once you have joined a gym, you must assign one of your Pokémon to defend the gym. This will increase the gym’s prestige and improve its defenses. As your gym fends off its opponents, more slots will become available for new trainers to join and enhance the gym’s defenses. Challengers must defeat all of the Pokémon trainers in your gym and reduce its prestige to zero for it to be taken over, so you’ll want to make sure you have one of your stronger Pokémon stationed in your gym to defend it from usurpers.

If a friendly gym is full, you can still help to improve the gym’s prestige by sending one of your Pokémon there to train against its members. You’ll gain points as your Pokémon trains, and as the gym’s prestige increases through training, more slots can be opened for you to join and leave a Pokémon to defend the gym.

Take over a gym in Pokemon Go

Pokemon-go-beat-a-gym

If there aren’t any friendly gyms available for you to join, you may need to take over an occupied gym instead. This involves a bit more preparation, as it requires the trainer to have strong, battle-ready Pokémon who can survive the onslaught of multiple defenders from an opposing gym. There are a few things you should keep in mind before diving into gym battles if you want to come out on top

Train your Pokemon to beat a gym in Pokemon Go

pokemon-go-gym-guide

Before even considering gym battles, you first need to power up and evolve several of your Pokémon to ensure they are strong enough to compete. If you have been capturing loads of Pokémon up to this point, you should have enough Candy and Stardust available to strengthen at least a few Pokémon.

Your Pokémon’s strength is based on its CP, or Combat Points. You can Power Up a Pokémon to improve its stats even further. Power Ups require both Stardust and Candy, which can be accumulated by capturing and transferring Pokémon. In general, you will want to transfer low CP Pokémon of a particular species back to Professor Willow in exchange for Candy. Save power ups for Pokémon with naturally high CP in order to maximize the stat increase.

Evolving Pokémon adds another layer to the process. An evolved Pokémon will have better stats than its previous form, but it will likely take on a completely new move set. If you intend to evolve a particular Pokémon, you should do this first before powering them up, just so you can see the stats you have to work with. You might want to learn how to evolve Eevee.

Size up your competition

pokemon-go-gym-battles

Once you have several strong Pokémon at the ready, it’s time to go out and find a gym to take over. When you find a gym held by an opposing team, click on the gym to view the CP of the Pokémon defending that gym. Compare the CP of the defenders to the CP of the Pokémon you intend to use in battle. If your Pokémon stack up against the opposition, then proceed to challenge the gym and begin battle.

Element types are an important factor in gym battles as well. This is a Pokémon game, after all. Water extinguishes fire, fire melts ice, etc. These rock-paper-scissors type advantages should be taken into consideration when sizing up your competition in advance, as it will impact your effectiveness in battle. You can take up to six Pokémon into battle with you. It’s best to have fighters that span a variety of element types in order to increase your chances of having a type advantage over your opponent.

Levelling up in The Witcher 3 is a slow and elegant grind to perfection. Chiselling a god from a bland vanilla puddle… But, ain’t nobody got time for that.
If you’re going for Trophies/Achievements, you know you have to beat the game on ‘death march’ difficulty, so you may as well level the playing field.

You Will Need!

  • Access to Novigrad
  • To have the quest ‘Of Swords And Dumplings’ available (Speak to the blacksmith in South Novigrad)
  • Delusion level 3

Meet Sukrus

the-witcher-3-level-up-fast

This first bit is pretty simple, start the ‘Of Swords And Dumplings’ quest in Novigrad. Once you’ve done that, go and meet with Sukrus.
He will tell you a bunch of information that you don’t need to know for this exploit. Just skip the dialogue.

Meet The Henchdwarf

the-witcher-3-level-fast-glitch

After Sukrus finally shuts up, you’ll have a quest update to ‘Get into Ernst Van Hoorn’s warehouse’. Run over to the location (It’s only 60 feet away) and you’ll be met by ‘Cleaver’s Henchdwarf’.  He’s pretty friendly and refers to you as ‘master witcher’.

Use Delusion

the-witcher-3-glitch

You’ll be presented with three options

  • (200) Yarpen sends his regards.
  • Oughta let me in.
  • Be back later.Use the second option ‘Oughta let me in’ as it uses Delusion. You’ll receive 40 experience points. You instantly brainwash the little scamp and he tells you that ‘the way’s all clear’.

RUN!

The-witcher-3-xp-glitch-2019

Instead of going into the warehouse, run away in any direction until the quest objective changes back to ‘Meet with Sukrus’. Now start the process from the beginning and repeat to keep receiving XP for using Delusion!

This will be updated regularly with more The Witcher 3 Glitches that still work in 2019. If you have a The Witcher 3 glitch you would like me to add, Let me know, I’ll be sure to update the article with your suggestion.

So you want to use Stardew Valley glitches right? You’ve probably noticed that the recent update has taken away the ability to use the item exploit. Lucky for you, I have a long list of Stardew Valley glitches that still work. Follow these and you’ll be growing gold star crops and romancing everyone (but Hayley) in a matter of minutes.

Infinite Health and Stamina

stardew valley exploit glitch

I hate it when I’m in the mines, it’s not even 4pm and I’ve already lost over two-thirds of my energy. It’s even more embaressing when I’ve been chopping trees all morning, it’s not even 11am and I’m about to collapse from exhaustion. Sure, I could buy a salad or two to keep me going, but I’m here to make money not waste it on frivolous items such as food.

If you’re fed up with this too, here’s a great Stardew Valley glitch to make sure it never happens to you again.

STEP 1
Grab a fence post and a sword, and make your way to the spa at the very top of the map.

STEP 2
Go through the front door and then the second door to the changing rooms (you’ll only be allowed access to one of the changing rooms depending on the gender you chose)

STEP 3
Now that you’re in the changing room, turn back and face the door you came in from. Edge yourself towards it making sure you don’t accidentally go through it. Now, start swinging your sword, it will slowly move you through the door and into the black area surrounding the room. Keep swinging your sword until your whole body is completely past the door frame. Once you’re completely clear run through the black area to the door that is parallel to the one you just glitched through. Walking through it should take you to the pool room, still wearing your clothes.

stardew-valley-exploit
stardew-valley-glitch-2019

STEP 4
Just as you enter the pool, put a fence post in the water (where I’m stood in the picture)

STEP 5
Leave the water and come back in, you should do a jump animation, and the fence post should be just after your landing spot.

STEP 6
If done right, once you leave the pool you’ll be stuck on the swimming animation even on solid ground. If not the post wasn’t close enough, move it and try again.

STEP 7
It’s now impossible for you to run out of energy or HP. To keep this glitch, you’ll need to either use the ‘return home scepter’ or continue using the steps.

STEP 8
leave the pool area, turn back to the door you just came through and do the sword glitch until your whole body is in the black area again.

STEP 9
Run through the black area to the door parallel to the one you just glitched through.

STEP 10
Now leave and take advantage of your infinite energy and health in the mines!

This will be updated regularly with new Stardew Valley glitches in 2019

How to Get the Seasonal Artifact in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep

There are a lot of changes coming in Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep expansion, but one of the most intriguing is the Seasonal Artifact. This item acts as a way for players to obtain a bunch of extra passive perks that can drastically alter how you play the game or approach engagements. These perks can range from gaining Glimmer to producing a heavy ammo brick when successfully using a Finishing Move. However, you won’t be given the Seasonal Artifact right away and it will take a small amount of work to obtain it.

To get the Seasonal Artifact you’ll need to reach Rank 7 in the Season Pass. This is Destiny 2’s version of a battle pass, with each rank offering additional rewards such as engrams, cosmetic items, and armour. Once you hit Rank 7, you will earn the Seasonal Artifact and can focus on leveling it up as you play through Shadowkeep. Keep in mind, this artifact can only be earned in the premium tree and cannot be earned in the free tier.

Just like armour, your Seasonal Artifact has an energy limit so you can only equip so many perks at a time. The Seasonal Artifact will also affect your Light level, as it will continuously increase your level until the Season of the Undying ends. This is done by gaining experience via just playing the game and completing activities. There are a total of 25 perks and there is no punishment for changing ones you’ve equipped.

We strongly suggest you grab your Seasonal Artifact as soon as possible, as it will help alleviate the power grind in Destiny 2. Just remember that the artifact’s Light bump will not affect the level of armour dropped in the world. So make sure to check and keep equipping higher tier gear you earn in the world.

Any questions? Let me know in the comments or reach out by Email / Social Media I’ll be sure to get back to you as soon as I can.

Red Dead Online is big, some might say too big (those people are wrong). If, like me, you’re extremely low on $$$, then trying to make the $900 for that hat you love can seem like a daunting task. Fortunately, there’s an easy solution in the form of a glitch. All you’ll need is a pelt (the more valuable the better) and your trusty steed.
As of 30 September 2019, this Red Dead Online money glitch is working and is extremely easy to do.

  • Start by joining a PVP series

red-dead-online-easy-glitch

  • Whilst that’s loading, hit your home button and scroll over to the Red Dead Redemption 2 community to find a random player online.

red-dead-redemption-online-money-glitch

  • Once you’ve found someone, double tap your home button to go back to the PVP loading screen to make sure everything has loaded up properly. If it has, once again, double tap the home button, this will take you back to the player you found in the community earlier.
  • Join their session
  • You should now be in a freeroam game
  • You’re going to want to find yourself a nice, big, expensive pelt to throw on the back of your horse
  • Travel to a location that will buy pelts from you
  • So you’ve got your pelt on the back of your horse and you’re in the vicinity of a pelt trader, it’s time the real glitching begins
  • Make sure you’re on your horse
  • Double tap your home button and click join session (the same session will pop up by default)
  • Again, double tap your home button and join the session
  • You’ll hear a noise to let you know you’re joining the session (you’re not)
  • Your horse will disappear from under your legs like this
  • Give it about 10-15 seconds for the game to adjust before you call your horse
  • If done correctly your horse should come galloping over with a pelt on its back and you should also have one on the floor next to you
  • This can be repeated by simply jumping back on your horse, double tapping the home button and joining the session, two times in quick succession. Just like before!
  • Sell the pile of pelts you’ve accumulated
  • Buy that $900 hat

How much did you make using this glitch? Let me know in the comments or reach out by Email/ social media, I’ll be sure to get back to you as soon as I can.

Anything can be spawned into existence in Stardew Valley, simply by having the items corresponding ID said out loud by an NPC, think of it as a reverse Rumplestiltskin.

For example, you might name your character [611][577][532], if you anticipate having a regular need for those items.
Keep in mind, you have to use the open and closed brackets and you can only use three 3 digit numbers in your name.

Now, anytime somebody says your name, each of the item IDs in your name will spawn its respective item into your inventory.

Now it’s time to take advantage of this trick! On any Monday, go to the saloon and talk with Gus. First time he will give a generic welcome and then for the rest of the day he will welcome you with your full name. You can be in the saloon from 12pm until 2am when you fall asleep. This gives you 14 hours to spam Gus and allows you to generate thousands of the items in your name every Monday.

In the side mission ‘Self Reflection’, Control protagonist Jesse finds evidence of a new ‘object of power’ hidden in the Research area – a strange mirror that has the ability to change its reflection (If you’ve ever watched the horror movie Mirrors, you’ll know why this is creepy) If you get as easily distracted as I do, you’ve already made a beeline for the mirror, only to find yourself stuck because of a frustratingly placed locked door and a painful spacial recognition puzzle. Not to worry, I’ve gotcha covered!

Right in the middle of the Mirror Testing Area, you’ll find a chamber with six windows, three on each side. Each window has a button that… controls (ha) an interior shutter. Shutters have two positions: up and down, toggled by the button

Ok, stay with me here… on a table facing the chamber, two monitors display the view captured by internal video cameras, both of which face the mirror.
When you check out the view on each monitor, what it shows has nothing to do with the actual position of the shutters. The camera is showing you the mirror’s desired shutter position. Putting the shutters in that position will open the chamber. However, it is up to you to determine which camera’s view you are looking at, and then flip that and translate it into what position the shutters should be in. confused? I am just writing about it.

here’s the view from the inside of the chamber, showing what position the shutters should be in:

This is the other side:

Ever had your face punched by someone that looks just like you? Well, you’re about to. Once you’ve touched the mirror you’ll be transported to a Star Trek-ian nightmare. Start exploring and peeking through windows until you eventually meet angry Jesse. She’s not easy to defeat but hiding upstairs behind pillars, whilst popping out from behind cover for those cheap shots: works a treat!
